In 2011, Ålands handelsläroverk, Ålands hotell- och restaurangskola, Ålands sjömansskola, Ålands vårdinstitut och Ålands yrkesskola were merged into Ålands yrkesgymnasium. Ålands naturbruksskola closed in 2011.
