Due to a major renewal of the IT systems at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland (ANM) at the turn of the year 2024-2025, which directly affects the Åland Labour Market and Study Service Authority (AMS), it is currently not possible to produce data for unemployment statistics in the same way as before.
The data for the statistics has been obtained from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland (ANM) since January 2025 and is not fully comparable with previous publications as the data was supplied by the AMS. The figures for Januari 2013 details the situation 18.2.2013, due to technical problems at AMS when extracting data from data base. The figure for May 2022 is revised on 4.7.2022 The figure for the long-term unemployment rate for under-25s has been revised in July due to a calculation error. The data for long-term unemployment in December 2024 was produced on 24.1.2025.
